CONTEST AWARDS
The Callaway Nuclear Plant is supporting this project along with WIN Region IV, University of Missouri, Nuclear Science and Engineering Institute, and MO-NASA. We have divided up the competition to give all ages a chance to compete with their peers. There will be 5 main winning categorys for the WINNERS Contest.
LEVEL 1 : (Kindergarden - First Grade) - The winning submission receives $250 for the student(s) and $250 for their classroom.
LEVEL 2 : (Grades 2-3) - The WINNER(s) and their classroom each receive $250.
LEVEL 3 : (Grades 4-6) - $500 for the winning submission and an All-School Award of Recognition to be presented to the winner's school.
LEVEL 4 : (Grades 7-9) - $500 for the winning submission and an All-School Award of Recognition to be presented to the winner's school.
LEVEL 5 : (Grades 10-12) - $1000 for the winning submission and an All-School Award of Recognition to be presented to the winner's school.
Overall : In addition to the 5 submission categories there will be a general overall award for the submission with the most merit, the most potential to be implemmented and really save the world.
The selected submission will received an additional $1000 and go on for furthur development with university level research so our contest really can save the world!
Group submissions will split the prize among contestants and must designate the associated classroom for Levels 1-2.
